Leadership Opportunities

Adult Leaders from Pack 219 & Pack 404 participated in a weekend of training in order to pprovide our Scouts with fun and exciting programs.

The BALOO (basic adult leader outdoor orientation) course provided Leaders with information and knowledge in Scout Safety, providing Camping and Overnight Programs planning, and certification in outdoor skills.

PINEWOOD DERBY!!

The Tri-Base Scouts were happy to welcome our friends at the 15th Wisbech St. Mary's Scouts to our District Pinewood Derby! This is the first time in over 10 YEARS that Mayflower district has held a District Cup, and the first time held with scouts from an International Group!!

A Scout is Reverent

“A Scout is reverent” is a statement that describes a Scout's respect for God and others' religious beliefs. It is a core value of the Boy Scouts of America (BSA).

    • Reverence
Reverence is defined as having great respect and awe for someone or something.
    • Religious beliefs
Scouts are expected to be faithful in their religious beliefs and to respect the beliefs of others
  • Scout Oath and Law
The Scout Oath begins with a duty to God, and the Scout Law ends with reverence.
  • Nonsectarian
The BSA is nonsectarian in its approach to religious training.
  • Scout Spirit
Scouts are expected to live by the Scout Oath and Law, which includes honoring God and country, helping others, and improving themselves.

I will be clean in my outdoor manners

The scouts have been working hard this year, and what a better way to end the scouting season than to clean your community! Our Boys, Girls, siblings and Parent Volunteers all worked together to clear RAF Feltwell of hundreds of pounds of rubbish, abandoned furniture and even a few articles of clothing!
