Cub Scouts

Cub Scouts is designed for youth aged 5-11, or in grades K through 6. The intent is to instill values in young people, develop their ethical character, and prepare them to become responsible citizens and leaders. 

 

Scouts

Scouting America (formerly Boy Scouts of America) is designed to prepare every eligible youth in America to become a responsible, participating citizen and leader who is guided by the Scout Oath and Law.

Upcoming events for scouts and families

District Derby

 

Pack 404 & 219 are hosting the Mayflower District Pinewood Derby event in March!
 
All racers and Adult Supervisors must register through the site in order to ensure your cars, names and Base Passes are correctly procured!
 
February 23, 2025
           Final day to register for the Derby. The Security Forces Squadron at RAF Mildenhall will need the names of all individuals not affiliated with the tri-base area 2 weeks before the derby date!
 
March 8th
             Race day! Scouts will be racing their pinewood cars at the Hangar! The top racers from each den will advance to the final races! There will also be entries available for Adults and Non-Scout family members in our "Friends & Family" and "MaD MaX" Races!!

FRIENDS OF SCOUTING

The Transatlantic Council 2025 Friends of Scouting appeal kicks off on 1 November and is working towards a goal of $225,000 by the end of February 2025.

What does Friends of Scouting support?

What age groups do you cater to?

Cub Scouts caters towards Youth aged 5-11 (K-5).

Scouts is for those who have completed their Cub Scout AOL advancement, or from age 11-18 (6th Grade onward).

How do I enroll my child?

You can enroll your child by contacting us directly or through our website.

What makes your programs unique?

The mission of Scouting America is to prepare young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes by instilling in them the values of the Scout Oath and Law.

Is there a fee to join?

BSA Annual Membership Fees:

  • $85 for Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing and Sea Scouting participants
  • $65 for all adult volunteers
  • $50 for Exploring participants Youth & Adult

Additional fees might be charged by local councils and units

Can girls join Scouting America?

 

Girls are encouraged to join any of the BSA programs, including Cub Scouts, Scouts BSA, Venturing, Sea Scouts.

Tri-Base Scouting is a combination of the two Cub Scouting Packs and the Two Scouts, BSA Troops in the Tri-Base Area. Located in the heart of Suffolk, England at RAF Lakenheath, Feltwell and Mildenhall, we offer a range of locations and age levels of scouting designed to foster personal and academic growth in the youth of military and civilian members of the area. Our team of dedicated volunteers is passionate about creating a supportive and enriching environment where every child can thrive. From personal advancements to the pinewood derby.
